The brief
GidiBuild is a construction firm that delivers real projects across Lagos and Abuja. They needed a company site to match, home, about, services, projects, and contact, that carries the weight of a builder clients can trust with a large, expensive job.
How we built it
- 1
Hand-built, no framework
Made with plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It loads fast, is trivial to host anywhere, and will keep working untouched for years without dependency upkeep.
- 2
Structured to signal scale
A full-width video hero and a clear services and projects layout communicate competence and capacity at a glance, before a visitor reads a single line.
- 3
Written for the market it serves
Copy and imagery are specific to the Nigerian construction market, not lifted from a generic contractor template.
Why we built it this way
A brochure site does not need a framework
For an informational company site, plain static files mean the lowest possible running cost and nothing to break or patch. The simplest tool that does the job is the right one.
Credibility over cleverness
Construction buyers trust proof: past projects, a solid about page, an easy way to make contact. The structure foregrounds that instead of visual tricks.
What it does
- Multi-page company site: home, about, services, projects, contact
- Full-width video hero
- Copy written for the Nigerian market
- Static and near-free to host
Built with
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- Static hosting
